We may also feel justified in placing our faith in the way the Buddha described things to be because many of the truths that he described have been confirmed by great practitioners of the Dzogchen teachings and the Mahamudra teachings. They have gained insights into aspects of reality that scientists, philosophers and psychologists have not even begun to understand or describe. Their experiential realisation, confirming what the Buddha said, is another reason we should feel justified in believing the Buddha’s account of things.
