We are very fortunate if we have monasteries or dharma centres we can attend for the study and practice of Buddhism, but if we do not have these nearby, then it’s completely fine that we gather together as a group and meet in the house of one of the group members. This might be someone’s house that is more spacious and whose family members are not unduly impacted by meeting there. By meeting once a week to study, reflect and practice together, it’s possible to create an excellent atmosphere for the study and practice of Buddhism. This gives other people great inspiration in terms of their Buddhist activity.
