In certain places, there are also Chinese Buddhist centres around. These centres should also emphasize the study, reflection and practice of the Buddha’s teachings. It is not appropriate that such dharma centres simply be places for burning incense and making offerings to the Buddha or, even more inappropriately, be places for holding all kinds of commercial dharma activities.
